I have promised you an example of Daily Activities Checklist. So I am offering you 2 freebie printables: one with our existing list and one with blank lines where you can write in your activities with a pencil, erase to make the new list at your convenience.

How does it work? We wake up in the morning and think of what we need to do. If we don’t remember what we wanted to do today, we take a look at the Daily Activities Checklist which is stuck to our fridge. Once the activity is done, we put a check mark next to it.

I arranged  activities on the Daily Activities Checklist pretty much by how they would be offered throughout the day. However, you don’t have to follow them to the dot in the same order.  We do some of our instrument practice in the morning, and some – in the evenings. Sometimes we watch a family movie in the afternoon, sometimes in the evening, sometimes we don’t watch a movie at all. Some days we have a Virtues class instead of a Family Circle time (You can find some of lessons on virtues and download a freebie by using a search option on the site or looking through categories).

You might think it looks like a very strict schedule. You might want to disagree on having any schedule during holidays or quarantine time. It’s not really like that –  we go with our feelings and moods. We also spend time planning some things every morning (what Family Circle time is for). So don’t worry – you won’t burden your children! You will, in fact, create a healthier and more purposeful way of them to spend their time at home. It is hard to cope when they can’t get outdoors!

By the way, if you have an opportunity to get out of the house and play in the sun – do it! There are so many opportunities and means for exploration and learning.
