It is that time for Mid-Autumn Festival and the world is busy making anmd tasting the most amazing mooncakes. We like making our own so this year I am sharing a quick recipe of Two Ingredients No-Bake Mooncake that even your toddlers can make.
You will need:
Mooncake hand-pressure mold
Rolling pin
Simple biscuits/cookies
Condensed milk (dairy free version – maple syrup)
How to make them:
– Put biscuits in a zip lock, close tight
– Crush them with hands and then with a rolling pin
– Pour them into a bowl
– Add condensed milk or maple syrup enough to wet the biscuits powder
– Add the mix to the mold, press gently to pack
– Make your mooncake!
You can add a little bit of vegetable oil or soft butter if you want it to resemble even more to the mooncake and make the mix soft as playdough.
You can keep them in the fridge overnight and they keep up to 2 weeks in the fridge in a tightly closed container or a zip lock bag.
P.s. You can reuse your ziplocks, don’t throw them away!
